The Brood

The siblings approve!

Grandma's 20th

We're home! Seth is the 20th grandkid on the Powell side. 14th grandson.

Going Home

It's almost time to go home. The discharge papers have been filled out. We're just waiting on the bilirubin test to be drawn. Owen, Rhett, Libby, Emmett, and Grandma can't wait to meet him in a few minutes!

This never gets old.

Good morning!

Another successful delivery by Dr. Lunt.

Pit Stop

We had to swing by the NICU for the rest of the crew to meet Seth and say hi to Kim.

Nurses? Co-workers? Sisters?

I can't say enough about how great it always is to have our kids born here. Kim's nurses and co-workers treat us like family every time.

Bath Time with Erin

I need to write a song titled "Bath Time with Erin". Four out of our five kids have all had their first bath with her.

What just happened?

Seth looks a little shocked.

Welcome to the world, Seth

Here He Comes

I was napping on the couch and heard a little commotion. This baby is coming!

Moving Along

Kim's at a 6+ now. Lights are off. We're both going to try to squeeze in a little nap before things get serious. Good night.

Epidural

The contractions are starting to hurt. After much consideration, Kim has decided to go ahead and get the epidural.

Tidal Wave

Water is broken. She's at a 5 now.

Slow Going

Still at a 4+, but he's definitely dropped. It's not looking like a birthday on the 13th.

Shooting the Breeze

Kim is just chatting it up with her nurse friends. Anyone want to make a guess on the baby's weight, length, and time of birth?

Born on the 13th?

I'm hoping so. I was born on October 13th. Kim doesn't care.

They're keeping her here

It's good to have connections in the labor and delivery unit.

Here we go!
