Meet Quincy and Queenie Quackenbush, our alter-egos. We are an integral part of the Mesquite, Nevada nightlife. We go from casino to casino performing various shows consisting of annoying yet often catchy medleys of popular songs. We decided to perform at the ward Christmas party last Friday. We condensed our Christmas Extravaganza show into a fun medley of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silver Bells, Jingle Bells, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. I think it went over pretty well. We were getting a few strange looks from people that normally know us as shy, but by the end, I think everyone warmed up to us and started having a good time. It's a good thing they weren't serving eggnog or things might have really gotten out of hand.
Owen and Rhett aren't quite to the age yet where they are embarrassed by their parents.

I am really loving the YouTube video idea!! When can we see it? We need the Q's at our ward party! We had a Santa that couldnt zip up the back of his costume and was losing his cheap pillow tummy!!

Somehow I got roped into standing in front of the door where Santa was changing during your performance...and I was NOT very happy about it. I could hear the catchy tunes and the laughter, and I was very upset that I was not watching the action.
Please tell me someone recorded it. Your ward members are SOOOOO lucky to have you, they have no idea. LOVE the cheesy christmas sweaters and especially Kim's makeup! Chris, your expression in this pic is perfect! Looks like you guys are fresh off a SNL skit!!
Sorry to upset everyone, but we didn't even think about recording it. Maybe I can convince Kim to get back in character and we'll put it on the blog.
Your kids would never be embarassed about that performance! You had the whole crowd captivated!!! I am so sorry you guys got split off from us! SO FUNNY!! we LOVED LOVED LOVED it! thank you for doing that! we had so many people back out last minute(it think you knew that) and this really really made it so GREAT!
